Simple Recipes for a Lovely Weekend

Lingonberry Jam, Bread and Butter Pudding
Nama macam canggih kan. Tapi nak buat senang je. Tak perlu pun alat canggih manggih.
Lingonberry Jam tu sempena nama fav jam yang I suka...beli kat Ikea. Masam2 and tak manis.
Tapi, any brand of jam...yang ada dalam fridge, boleh guna..tak perlu beli yang lain. Ini ada lah recipe 'Jangan Membazir'.

Selalu kalau kita beli roti, cepat je nak expired kan? ..kalau masuk fridge...no longer fresh enough untuk sandwiches..dan akhirnya ke tong sampah la dia.Rugi rugi..Menangis roti tu.

Not sure what to do ? Cuba la resepi ni...sure sedappp.. :). Masak sendiri semua sedapkan...kalau tak sedap pun..siapa lagi nak puji..:)



saya lebih suka guna wholemeal bread rather than white...sebab kononnya saya diet...tapi kalau dah nama pudding tu, diet apa pulak ye... :)





Ingredients
75g unsalted butter
3 tbspns apple sauce ( Kalau takde dalam fridge, boleh guna peel fresh punya apple juice)
8 slices brown bread (Boleh adjust ikut berapa banyak roti yang tinggal)
2-3 eggs
3 tbspns granulated sugar
500ml double cream
200ml milk
2 tbspns demerara sugar (brown sugar pun boleh)
Any jam kesukaan anda semua...:)

How to cook? senang aje..

++Preheat the oven to 160c

++Grease a pudding dish with the butter.


++Cut the crusts of the bread,Make sandwiches with the brown bread, butter and jam


 ++then cut into triangles, and arrange them evenly along the middle of the pudding dish.



++Gently warm the milk in a pan over a low heat, jangan biar mendididh.

++Whisk the egg together with the sugar, and pour in the cream , apple sauce and milk.
++Pour this over the triangles of bread and leave them to soak up (dalam 5-10 min)



++Place the dish into the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes atau sampai jadi golden-brown.






Sementara nak tunggu pudding masak...kalau ada chicken breast dalam fridge...

Just marinade with salt , lemon,garlic, pepper and rosemary. Bahan2 ni , selalunya memang sentiasa ada @my kitchen.


Roast the chicken until tender...(Kalau ada leftover roasted chicken, contohnya ayamas or ayam kenny rogers yang tak habis pun boleh guna)

Potong nipis2...



and combine je dengan salad yang ada...mix the dressing in.Yeyyy...siap untuk dimakan.
complete dengan dessert sekali...:).



Simple je kan. I will be on leave start esok...sampai la Ahad. Tak boleh ketuk pintu, tukar-tukar makanan macam bulan puasa tu...tukar-tukar resepi pun ok kan? :)
