Surfer's Paradise and Sebelum Cahaya, Bali Day 1,Part 2

Next stop are Kuta Beach and Legian Street.We decided nak pergi Kuta je. Hari pun dah nak petang, so plan nak tgk night life kat Kuta.Just walked around sambil survey2 harga. Pappp...tepuk dahi...ramainya manusiaaa. Rasa cam tak boleh berjalan. Penuh and sempit sangat.

Pastu..masa sampai kat sini...sibuk cari beach nak tengok sunset...penat kaki mencari sana sini...motor pulak banyakkkk sangat...tapi...takde pulak accident...terer la diorang ni..
For me, Kuta has become the tourism hub of Bali.Ramai Australian...jadi mat rempit tak pakai baju kat sini. Sama macam kat Langkawi...banyak mat salleh naik motor.Kuta, bagi I, lacked of any traditional Balinesian culture, but it was pumping with happening surrounding, cute restaurants, surf shops around every corner and full of cute surfers without shirts on :).

Lepas tu, untuk orang Islam, kena careful, sebab memang banyak anjing kat sini.

Legian Street

We went for a walk along the main road of Legian Street.Excited masa ni...Banyak gila kedai kat tepi, kiri kanan jalan.Semuanya murahhhh....Here if compared to Sanur, it was more fun and happening,most pubs gather at this street and it open until late night.Tapi, we all dah tak larat nak tunggu sampai midnite, sebab penat and lapar sangat.Cam nak cepat jek keluar dari Kuta tuh...sesak...pening!!

Visited the Bombing area .

Hahha...masa ni sibuk duk convert duit kita ke rupiah. Tak biasa lagi...sibuk dok keluarkan converter table. Yang kelakarnya masa kat sana, sapa yang perasan kitorang ni Malaysian,diorang akan jerit..'Murah ya...murah...harga Chow Kit lagi nih..'. Hahha

Kuta beach by the evening

Konon2 nak rehat le kejap dari dok tengok flashy lights, fancy hotels, expensive night clubs...sambil tengok sunset, minum air kelapa...tapi mak aiiii...ramainya orang...

Tempat ni memang a heaven for surfers and backpackers...

Not my favourite beach but it seemed incompleted kalau tak jejak kaki kat sini Our beach much2 better dari segi keindahan pantai and kebersihan.Tapi kat sini ombak dia kuat gila.Betul la orang kata, Kuta beach is a surfers' paradise.

Masa jalan2 kat beach, we were surrounded by people all the time nak jual Kite la, suruh buat manicure la...ha...jap kelabu mata jap...sebab murah...haha.

Lewat malam tu, we all dinner kat tepi pantai Sanur. They aren’t many people on this beach and was seemed to be more private.We had a fun time taking pictures there. Live band kat situ pun best bangettt.hehe. Sedap suara mamat tu. Kitorang siap request lagu dewa lagi. Masa tu first time dengar lagu Letto -Sebelum Cahaya.

Cozy je kat sini...best...kat belakang tu pantai.

Ancient Serenity Of Bali.Day 1,Part 1

Sebelum ni, I selalu sangat berangan nak pegi Bali. Maybe, influence from travel site yang selalu I baca and selalu sangat tengok Astro Discovery Travel and Living yang selalu buat I meleleh air liur nak travel.Anthony Bourdain ...I adore him...:)

Mula2, we decide nak arrange for our second honeymoon. Tapi, we change the plan to make it as a backpack vacation. So, we went together with my officemate yang nature and culture lover jugak.

Although terrorist attacks took place in 2002 , the island is still beautiful to visit.Tapi, it's effect our plan.Mula2 nak duduk kat nusa dua.Tapi, ramai yang advise, to avoid tempat yang ramai mat-salleh. So we change our plan.While some vacationers macam I are afraid to visit this island, it is completely safe and secure. InsyaAllah.

For me, Bali Island is one of the most scenic and breathtaking escapes in the world. Bali not only is known for its amazing beaches and unique culture,tapi, yang paling memorable is 'budi bahasa' diorang yang tak kira agama and bangsa.Lagi satu, ketabahan diorang mengharungi hidup. Syukur Alhamdulillah pada kita semua yang berada di Malaysia.Diorang semua have held strong positive outlooks and are constantly supporting one another through these tough times. It is uplifting to see the determination in their eyes and kejujuran diorang ni cari makan, walau dalam kesusahan.

Diwangkara Holiday Villa Bali -I like this boutique hotel....so much!! The only hotel yang provide halal food at Bali.Plus point...
This hotel located betul2 tepi pantai sanur. Siapa yang tak suka kecoh2 sangat, pantai ni best.Rasa cam kat kampung...sunyi je...
Hotel ni dibina and diubahsuai daripada old bungalow . Design dia memang typical Balinese style and decor with warm Balinese surrounded by lush tropical garden and a beautiful sunrise display daily.Best sangat...

Best hotel ni...private room...so each room ada pintu masuk...and keliling bilik tu semua cam mini forest...siap ada bell lagi depan pintu.

Every room...ada private pool...walllaaa...

Kena bersihkan daun2 before nak terjun tiruk..



Mula2 takut gak nak tido...takut mengigau patung2 kat ujung kepala tu...hehehe

Had our first lunch-Nasi Padang at Restaurant Serdehana not very far away from the airport.Masa ni tengah lapar sangat.... The way diorang serve, kita takyah susah2 order...diorang just bawak lauk yang banyak tu...penuh satu meja. Kita hanya bayar untuk lauk yang kita makan.The taste...hmmm. Tak pedas..pastu bumbu yang diorang guna tu cam pelik sikit rasa dia.Tapi ok la...ditanggung halal.Lapar sangat masa ni...belasah je

Farewell Party to PakYa, Dino and Rusli.

Dino, Rusli and Pak Ya have been moved to another lab. So, we decide to organize a Farewell Party for them. So, untuk Pak ya , kira 2 in 1 la Pak ya kan...walau pun Pak Ya nak pencen next year. Secret Recipe,Alamanda was chosen as the location. We have a sweet memory captured in my blog....

Considering that we did not have any prior experience in event management :) and such matters, I think eryn did a good job walaupun rushing gila masa nak carik hadiah..

Finding the right gift was not as easy as we thought either. Especially untuk lelaki...adusss..peningg

Here was the 3 tiny small pieces Seafood Spring Roll for appertizer...

I pilih Pan-grilled Dory with Lobster Sauce. It was the pan-grilled dory fillets prepared with lobster sauce, served with French fries, sweet pea, cauliflower and carrots. Ok la...not bad. Tapi muak sikit la...The dory tak fresh sangat.

Roasted Chicken with Tumeric Sauce...nampak macam rendang je

Irish Lamb Stew ..guys banyak yang order ni.Tapi semua tak habis..ish...dah la paling mahal.
Macam mana la diorang boleh makan...one wholesome piece of lamb rib dengan Irish Stew sauce yang dah tak irish dah..sebab bau lamb tu kuat sangat. It comes with whipped potato and a bun.
