On our 3rd anniversary with giggles

27th May 2009-Our wedding anniversary hits during a month with my hubby's birthday.Happy Birthday to u and Happy Anniversary to us!!



I dah belikan hadiah , 2 in 1 , birthday and anniversary..awal2 lagi. This year,I belikan handphone idaman dia. Sesuai la untuk keperluan dia yang selalu je sesat pergi mana2. So, I make sure the handphone installed with the 'LUCY' yang boleh bagi tau with voice direction untuk pergi mana2.

I pulak ? Diamond is forever..hehe. Dapat a 'habib jewels' diamod ring...jangan hilang lagi dah la. asyik hilang je kan.Dia tau, I suka diamond, tapi kedekut nak keluarkan duit sendiri untuk beli.


Masa birthday dia, I tanya dia nak kek apa, I buatkan. Hmm...dia just cakap...' nak kek pisang je...yang ikin selalu buat tu...taruk walnut banyak2'. Seronok tengok dia makan banyak , panas2 fresh from the oven..

Dapat tiket tgk MU July ni.TQ...TQ. Bukan hadiah main2 ni tau. Haha. My husband sokong Liverpool. So, pengorbanan yang besar dia sanggup tgk MU semata2 nak temankan wife dia ni.Hikhik

What else?We decided to stay at Cyberview Lodge Resort&Spa...

Mula2 masa dia tanya tu...macam tak dapat nak decide nak pergi mana. First, masing2 bz sangat lately. Tengok la, blog pun sampai bersawang.Dia dengan kerja shift yang tak menentu.Cuti pun tak menentu, weekend orang cuti dia keje.Orang keje dia cuti.Kita tidur, dia keje..
Second, tak boleh g jauh2...hahaha. Budget constraint, simpan duit tuk masuk rumah baru end of this year.

Sampai sekarang teringat2 about bubbling, warm water that's so enticing,rose and lavender,the wonderful terracotta decor that helped me get into the mood-berangan tak habis2 :) masa tengah bath,small Balinese woman (agaknya le) awaited - with her oils and little cup of ginger tea.

I came out of there very relaxed and very rejuvenated.

breezy ambiance by day and intimate candle-light dinners by night.

Malam tu, kitorang berdua dinner at Bistro Cascata , Italian restaurant , kat dalam cyberview tu jugak.Borak2...and teringat balik ..

Yang paling tersentuh rasanya, bila teringat balik...macam mana we all spend our first anniversary. Masa tu semuanya budget constraint.
Tapi nak jugak merasa candle-light dinner.So, i cook dinner for him, bake a chocolate cake pakai butterfly oven and hiaskan dengan strawberry, and setup table sendiri kat rumah. Pasang candle yang beli kat ikea,beli bunga rose kat pasar ttdi, letak atas meja,alas meja dengan checkered tablecloth, susun kerusi rotan putih ikea...pasang la lagu apa ntah...daripada notebook yang ada kata ats meja study.
Tapitu la kenangan yang paling sweet...dengan apron terlupa bukak...:).Masa tu tak dapat nak beli hadiah mahal2 pun....tapi kenangan yang manis tak semestinya datang daripada harga yang mahal..

Otw back, kitorang singgah tengok movie, Angel and Demons. Lama betul tak tgk movie, sambil makan caramel popcorn. Weekdays play tu...tak ramai orang. Cerita ni pulak pasal Vaticans and Rome. Mula la keluar ayat berangan, 'ish...rasa macam orang kaya plak, semalam pergi spa kat bali, dinner kat italian restaurant, hari ni tgk movie pasal Vatican and Rome...betul2 rasa macam kat Italy'...my husband cebik je...tapi sempat cakap..InsyaAllah...maybe next anniversary...mana kita tau..Amin.

That’s how we spent out 3rd wedding anniversary. A simple day, but yet, it was really meaningful for both of us.
We are really grateful for 3 beautiful years and are appreciative to have each other.

I love and have always loved the taste and smells that come from a kitchen filled with love .... sharing something you’ve made with friends & family

There is nothing as pleasurable as walking into my house where the smell of freshly baked cakes,
emerging from the kitchen. The fruits, cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla aroma gives my house a very warm and inviting feeling.

I love the taste of homemade...plus it is satisfying to have other people enjoy what I have made and to know they are eating the best ingredients and not preservatives and additives.

This week I buat fruit cake and chocolate cake..ada officemate order...lama dah tak buat cake...since cuti lama hari tu.

... sinfully chocolate cake. The decoration pun...from ganache (good quality dark chocolate with cream).
No icing or buttercream.So...bila makan..akan rasa chocolate ...not icing sugar...

My office mate order cake ni untuk her mom...so dia nak tulis birthday wish kat atas kek.
Then, baru i guna icing.. :). That's all...yang lain still pure dark chocolate ...

A Glorious Weekend

I had a lovely and one of the most amazing weekends last week : whole 2 days of eating , cooking, walking, hanging out with the whole family.

Sabtu pagi, siap2 nak pergi breakfast with my husband. U can see my mum ...tengah bagi nasihat..ha jalan elok2...pelan2...jangan makan bukan2...

We headed to Kayu Nasi Kandar kat Bandar Sri Permaisuri. Kedai ni baru je bukak. So saja la nak cuba. Tapiiiii...service slow ....tak mo pergi dah lepas nihhh!!

Food, glorious food

For lunch, I made a lovely whole roast chicken...kalah kenny rogers tau.

Start by marinating the chicken with lemon, garlic, rosemary, sage, thyme, chilli powder , soy sauce , salt and breadcrumbs.

Ni le hasilnya.....crispy di luar...lembut di dalam..

Makan plak...dengan sauce2 yang sedap ni...plus my special mushroom + brown sauce.
Sedap tau makan ngan mustard..

In the evening,we snuggled up in front of TV with crisps and zzzz....kenyang

Glorious Twin Girls

Sunday up early, we headed to Putrajaya Intenational Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009. Bunyi cam best kan...tapi Hot Air Balloon nya...ada satu jek. tu pun tak naik2...Takpe la, yang penting family outing and gathering, had a lovely time and good company.

Singgah breakfast kat bawah pokok. sungai besi. sedap sini...megi goreng dia superb.

Kikin miss u all ...girls...hihi

Mak bising ni...jangan jalan cepat2...belum baik betul tu...

Panas la...tapi kita lapar.....

My First Outing

I had my first outing since my surgery last thursday and it helped me sooooo much.

Last thursday was a big day – my 4 week follow up appt. with Dato'. He said I’m doing great and takde masalah so far. Actually everybody was surprised to see me...nampak sihat...berbanding orang lain yang buat the surgery pada hari yang sama. Alhamdulillah.

Masa timbang berat, sukanya dengar...I’ve actually lost weight since the surgery ...yeyyyyy...semangat nak diet nihh. My new life has definitely begun…hahhaha...DRAMA QUEEN!

Tapi, bila Dato' explain secara detail...sebenarnya my cyst actually dah stage 4, the worst stage.... terdiam kejap.Tapi Alhamdulillah...sempat buang sebelum melarat...I rasa syukur sangat2.Pengajaran...pleaseee...jangan ambik ringan kalau ada sakit apa2...walaupun tak memudaratkan pada mulanya.

The next big step - now I need to come up with a plan for longer term recovery and health...so that benda ni takkan berulang lagi. Coz, kemungkinan cyst ni akan berlaku lagi agak besar.

Shasha Elite and her husband pun ada sekali buat checkup ...I think dia dah 2-3 bulan kot pregnant.Cantik dia kat luar...seri ibu mengandung... :), and friendly.

Lepas selesai je post-op check up, banyak lagi aktiviti yang perlu dibuat.Hehe. My husband bawak I pergi grocery shopping at Cold Storage Ikano and look around at Metrojaya, The Curve for clothes.Actually bukan look around je..ada la beli sehelai dua. Hihi. Pastu sempat g Ikea..beli barang2 sikit.

Fun sangat dapat get out and actually be able to walk around the stores without pain. Shopping is one of my fav activities, after all, and ordering things online just isn’t the same as touching everything in the store.

Simple...kuah singgang, ikan kembung goreng and sambal gesek.
Tapi...banyak dia makan... :).. I Likeee

Cooking as therapy...

Lama sangat dah tak masak...dah sebulan rehat...Hari ni rasa nak masak benda yang paling senang and paling sedap...

The easier the better...hahahhaa . Pantang pun dah start langgar sikit2...

So...I decided to cook simple Spaghetti aglio olio for my lunch ...just now
I think this is a dish that everyone can do... especially in my condition , really really cheap and made with ingredients you always have at home...tak payah nak keluar beli barang...

Wow!

Petang semalam , my mum balik kerja , belum masuk rumah...daripada pintu pagar dah update dia buat apa kat office, staff ponteng la, staff dia curik2 guna hand phone dia la..sebab kredit banyak sangat, ada orang jual tudung baru la...mak dah beli..bayar 2 kali....macam2 lagi la

Mula-mula dia cerita...staff dia bawakkan sayur labu, bendi and bunga kantan from kampung, tanam sendiri...I kata...ooo...ok.. 'Mak nak buat asam pedas la esok. I cebik je, jawab 'ala...Ikin tak boleh makan la mak...buat kuah singgang la...baru boleh makan'. Tapi, bila dia keluarkan sayur2 tu daripada beg plastik...I, my husband dengan abah terus jerit....'WOWWW...besarnyaaa....

Ayah I terus cakap...'kin...amik gambar...masuk dalam website ko tu'...hahahhaha...tada....

I tak pandai ambik gambar...rasanya..kat luar...bendi ni nampak lagi panjang....

Besarkan bendi ni...panjang. Baja apa la pakcik tu taruk...
