We woke up early to catch the sunrise....tapi rupanya tak cukup awal...kat sini cepat betul cerahnya.Kena bangun kul 5.00 pagi baru boleh tengok sunrise. Sebenarnya since dah bangun awal and too early for breakfast, we had really enough time to jalan2 around hotel. Semalam penat sangat, tak sempat pun nak jalan2. I force Din to snap my pix berangan konon dalam movie seram. Haha. Betul, pagi2 it was a bit misty, so...memang macam dalam cerita mistik je.Tapi hotel2 kat sini memang detail dia punya art.
Early Bird....Misty Morning...
We walked along the beach, all the way from the hotel . The beach area in front of the hotel was quiet and deserted.Sunyi je...kalau ada pun...local people yang turun cari rezeki.Rasa tenang je...walaupun pantai kita lagi cantik. Sini cam tak confident nak mandi, sebab banyak anjing.Jinak2 pulak tu anjing kat sini.Orang belanda kat sini, banyak yang datang and buat macam rumah sendiri. :). Sekali datang diorang ni duduk dalam sebulan, dua bulan.
U jump...I run...hehee
Then it was time for breakfast.....Ok la makanan kat sini...tak banyak choice...tapi yang penting halal. Tapi..kalau mintak half-boiled eggs, dia bagi hard-boiled eggs. Sampai kitorang balik macam tu.
Pagi2 tu, kitorang discuss dengan our tourist guide provided by the hotel , nama dia Lamas. Kuatnye haiii bercakap dia ni. Baik hati betul. Really soft spoken. Tagline....'Caranya memang begitu ya..'.Haha. Banyak jugak knowledge dia pasal Malaysia. Sibuk nak datang Malaysia and nak pergi penang.Throughout our trip, we experienced good service from Lamas...Really.
So , lepas nego harga, he agreed to escort and introduce the interesting places base on our request. I and eryn dah buat homework siap2 before datang. Geleng kepala orang laki tgk. berjela2 kertas kitorang keluarkan. Lamas suggested that we commence the trip early, to see the Barong Dance which starts at 8.30am. Although the idea was tempting, tapi kitorang decide nak tengok Kecak Dance on the next day. So we skip that part.
Day 2 Trip Began
From Sanur we got to a place called Celuk for silver demonstration. I beli butterfly brouch. Cantikk.... Halus sangat buatan dia. But quit expensive. Lama kitorang duk kat kedai tu nak cari benda yang paling murah.
We went to a Batik store, Sari Amerta Batik Collection. There is a batik demonstration at the entrance. We watched how the batik and the songket are made there. Kagum...walaupun the techniques making lebih kurang sama kat Malaysia, beza dia design dengan motif. I did not even bother. I just looked around, sebab bagi I batik Terengganu lagi halus.
Singgah kejap kat kedai lukisan...apa ntah nama tempat ni...lupa dah. Tak minat sangat..sebab banyak motif haiwan dan manusia.Pastu the painting banyak menggambarkan Hindu epic such as Ramayana story.
We then went to Tegalalang to enjoy a nice view of terasering system (macam tangga kan?) of the paddy field, a traditional practice that has been done for hundreds of years. Subhanallah...cantik sangat rasanya.Kalau datang masa padi masak lagi cantik. Tapi, masa ni takde mood nak ambik gambar.Bad mood masa ni, tapak kasut tercabut. Kena pakai sandal beli kat Bali.Tension...small fight with Din. sorry honey..ehhehee
Kat tepi2 tu banyak nampak kedai jual alas meja yang kait tu...colour putih. cantikk sangat.Tapi, kat sana , kejap2..budak2 jual pensil datang...ramai pulak tu. so tak berani nak start beli, takut kena kerumun. Tapi serius...alas meja tu cantik...menyesal pulak tak beli.
Video Klip...memori daun pisang....ahakss
Side of valley ...Din love Tegallalang for its beautiful rice terraces field
After almost 45 mins driving uphill, we arrived at Kintamani.Sejuk jugak kat sini...macam Cameron Highland kita la. Kintamani is on a hill that overlooks Mount Batur, a volcano, and the Mount Batur lake. It was a bit misty, but still boleh nampak the mount and the lake.
grandiose, very scenic...
Kalau u all boleh nampak dalam pix ni, the dark strip is actually made of lava. The volcano is still active according to Lamas. As he said that, Kintamani tu diambil sempena nama Anjing Kintamani.Ada la dia cerita sejarah pasal Kintamani...tapi I sibuk ambik gambar sambil penat melayan vendors yang ada kat tepi2 jalan ni. Ramainya...datang nak menjual barang.
We then had our lunch at Restoran suling Bali- a nice Indonesian buffet .Banyak lagi restoran yang best, tapi yang ni halal. Again, Lamas turned down our offer to join our lunch. The food was so-so, but having it with the view of the mount and the lake was priceless! Walaupun...kat depan cermin tu beratur orang2 dok jual barang kat kita. We tried fried banana with honey - pelik kan. Tapi eryn kata sedap...biasa je for me. But the Balinese pulut hitam were heavenly .
Bye Kintamani....
On the way back, we all singgah Desa Bangau kat- Desa petulu, ubud. Masa sampai tu terkejut gak, banyaknya bangau kat tepi2 sawah and atas pokok. Putih je nampak macam kapas. Yang peliknya...kat situ je ada bangau. Lepas je sempadan kampung tu..memang takde langsung.
Kat sini, ramai yang jadi tukang kayu. Kalau lalu dekat rumah diorang..kita akan sentiasa nampak diorang bertukang. Rasa insaf bila tengok kesusahan hidup diorang. Rumah diorang betul2 kecik, tapi masih menjaga budi bahasa dan hormat orang.
Gayat kejap masa ni...haha...macam rusa masuk kampung.
lari..lari...berak bangau nak jatuh atas kepala..
Semua rumah diorang macam ni...
Yahoo....its time for stuff bargaining at Ubud Market. Kat sini memang takde gambar langsung. Sebab kecoh nak shopping. Din yang pegang video...sampai pening kejar kitorang. Kalau tengok video memang kelakar la...kecoh tawar menawar. Rasa macam nak pergi balik and mintak berkodi-kodi tu.
Bila bab tawar menawar je...memang I la jadi kapten. ishhh. I went to the market always start haggling with 50% of their asking price. They are always willing to sell even at the smallest of profits, if they don't agree to what you're willing to pay that means terlalu rendah la sampai tak boleh nak go.
Tapi, tempat tu panas nya tak boleh nak cerita. Berpeluh2 kejar sana sini.Naik2 je, nampak kedai batik yang pertama terus je beli, sebab dah rasa murah . Padahal kat bawah lagi murah. Semua benda ada jual kat sini :sarongs, art and antiques, wood carvings and stone carvings, hammocks ,handbags, beg mengkuang yang bawak g ngaji tuh, paintings and plates, kites , etc. Tingkat atas more to batik , table linen, shoes, and toys.
Orang laki...surrender, tunggu kat luar. hahaha...tak terkejar diorang ni.
Balik tu, sebab penat sangat...pegi spa to relax. Ok la...murah sangat2 kalau nak bandingkan dengan Malaysia. Cuma dari segi kebersihan kurang sikit.
Balik dari spa, dah pukul 11.30 malam. Sanur tu macam kampung kita, pukul 11.30 malam macam dah sunyi. Kedai pun banyak dah nak tutup. Dah la penat, kena carik kedai makan dalam hujan pulak. Mula, nak makan kat reggae cafe, tapi, bisisngnya kalah disco kot. Nak borak pun tak boleh.Last2...makan kat Grand Bali Hotel...tepi Sanur Beach tu jugak.
Gado-gado
Semua dah keletihan.Balik hotel...memang terus tidur...tak sedar apa dah...
